18 Dec Walking Over Shark Infested Waters at the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station
In honor of Discovery Channel’s yearly celebration known as Shark Week, The St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station opened a new rope bridge in August of 2020 that spans the length of their shark tank for brave guests to cross. The 250,000 gallon tank called Shark Canyon houses over 60 different species of aquatic life including sandbar sharks, blacktip reef sharks, zebra sharks, nurse sharks, bowmouth guitarfish, lesser devil rays, and spotted eagle rays. The rope bridge is kind of a secret so make sure to be really nice to the guides at the aquarium and maybe they will show you!
