Many buyers and sellers (along with their respective agents) think that once an agreement is signed they are bound until expiration of the agreement.
This is not true.
This agreement is considered an agency agreement which is consensual so when one of the agencies withdraws the agreement dies.
The only thing to watch out for here is if there is a provision stating you have to pay a certain fee to withdraw from the agreement, it may read “If terminated before the agreement expires the seller has to pay the listing agent $750” or something along those lines.
