How realistic is the Zestimate home value number provided by Zillow?

It’s not uncommon for us to hear the response, “But the Zestimate is This” when we tell sellers for what price the comparable sales in their neighborhood are leading us to believe their home should be listed.

We usually point out that the Zestimate is for entertainment purposes only, and should not be considered accurate.  It’s important for you to also look closer at the Zestimate, and notice it provides a fairly large range of value, nut just one number.

The Zestimate is nice, we use it occasionally to get a quick very ballpark value of a property, but in general we suggest you consult with your local Hermann London agent to get the facts on what your homes value is based on actual market sales and an interior visual inspection.
